The glitz and glam of Las Vegas is incredible and there is never a shortage of things to do or see. That being said, when Formula 1 comes to Vegas, everything is amplified by ten! Each and every hotel has a pop-up suited for the race weekend, allowing fans to immerse themselves in the atmosphere of the high-speed environment before, during, and even after the race weekend has concluded.
Thankfully, I had the luxury of time on my side to really make sure that I was able to thoroughly enjoy each pop-up, but for the fans who are attending last minute or can only make it to Vegas for a day or two, I wanted to highlight my three favorite pop-ups and why you should prioritize visiting them.
Enchanté at the Cosmopolitan Hotel
Daniel Ricciardo’s merchandise brand, Enchanté, has to be commended for their retail space and the experience they provided their fans. Now, this is coming from someone who didn’t even purchase one of his items, but the overall experience was so memorable that I had to add it to the list. Located at the Cosmopolitan, the Enchanté pop up was one of the more well-organized and cool-looking venues I saw throughout my exploration of all the pop-ups in Vegas. With the merch being focusing on limited edition drops and specialty pieces, the space didn’t feel overcrowded and it wasn’t overwhelming to comb through each and every item.
The design of the store was really interesting and reflected Ricciardo’s style with posters lining the wall and a retro looking truck in the middle of the room. Just because I didn’t purchase an item didn’t mean that I didn’t like the pieces. Unfortunately I fell victim to overpacking my suitcase, but if that wasn’t the case, then I would have definitely got something for myself, my friends and my family as each design was actually so unique and memorable. One thing I loved was that there were pieces that fit each and every price range. Although his merch isn’t too overpriced, it can feel like a lot when it’s being purchased on top of the other race weekend merch and experiences, but that seemed to be noted with $3 postcards and $2 stickers available for purchase.
If you were lucky as well, Ricciardo himself actually made an appearance a couple times over the course of the race weekend. He signed some t-shirts for lucky fans and posed for as many photos as they asked for. I think this pop-up stuck out to me because of how special it was for so many fans that I chatted with. They were all thrilled to be able to shop the pieces in person and not just online, and they all wanted to support one of their favorite former drivers and F1 personalities.
F1 Hub at the Venetian Hotel
Honestly, I was quite surprised that I enjoyed this pop-up during the race weekend. As we were heading to the Venetian to check out the F1 Hub, I felt like it was going to be like any other Formula 1 merchandise store I'd visited before, with the same driver and team merch and stale circuit designs. But lo and behold, that was not the case here!
Despite the very intimidating line that weaved its way through the Venetian and out the back door, the wait wasn’t actually too bad. The line moved quickly and people were more than happy to chat with one another as everyone there shared one same interest: Formula 1. If you don’t want to wait, get there very early or go during off-hours.
When we finally made it inside, I was shocked to see the size of the venue and just how many unique, individual merchandise pieces there were on offer. Sure, you could find your classic Ferrari merch or a #4 hat for Lando Norris, but the Las Vegas GP itself had a plethora of fun designs and products to choose from that were specifically brought to life just for this race weekend.
The highly sought out Hello Kitty merchandise had its own section in the back of the store, allowing fans to separate themselves from the rest of the merch and take their time choosing their desired pieces.
With the news that Lego would be sponsoring an F1 Academy car in 2026, it was only fitting that they had a section with t-shirts and hoodies dedicated to the Lego x F1 collab.
I loved that they had a customization station. You could choose a custom patch to stitch onto a hat or shirt alongside getting your name embroidered in cursive. Although purchasing Las Vegas merch is special on its own because it signifies the specific race and year you attended the event, a personalized custom hat, shirt or other product makes the item much more memorable and meaningful. It just felt like such a great touch to make sure fans feel even closer to the sport they love.
If I had to give one tip to anyone heading to the F1 Hub, it would be to bring your Amex card IF you have one! Amex partnered with the F1 Hub to offer another exciting option for their Card Members. There was a section in the back that allowed all Amex Card Members to get access to exclusive merchandise and a remote controlled car racing game! On the plus side too, if you’re a Platinum Card Member, you’ll receive a complimentary gift wrapping kit to make sure that your merchandise can be packaged up perfectly for that special someone. Overall, I really would recommend heading to the Venetian to check out the Hub as it was one of the coolest merch stores I’ve seen and it’s well worth the time and money.
Williams Racing pop-up at the New York, New York Hotel
I will always stand by this, but there is no pop-up like the Williams Racing pop-up. Each and every event that they have is so special and makes fans feel even more included and immersed in the race weekend.
Located just outside the New York, New York Hotel, the Williams Racing pop-up was free to enter as long as fans had the Williams app downloaded on their phone. There was never a line to enter and they didn’t let it get too crowded inside, keeping the experience very pleasant for anyone attending. Inside the event, fans can expect to find a Komatsu truck simulator, exclusive merchandise, different reaction tests, a show car, racing sims, and most importantly, appearances by members of the team!
All of these items seem fairly standard for a pop-up, but it's the fact that they keep it all in one place making it easy and convenient for Williams fans to experience everything that’s being offered. The official merchandise was restocked as soon as an item was purchased, making it feel like nothing would ever run low. The staff kept the lines for the simulators and the reaction tests moving quickly and were very pleasant to chat with which just enhances the experience overall.
For this weekend, my timing didn’t line up with catching some of the guest appearances on the fan stage, but from chatting with people who did attend, they said that they loved hearing Carlos Sainz talk about his season and they said that it was so interactive; it didn’t just feel like him talking on stage, it felt like a real conversation between him and the fans. Another thing that makes this pop-up so special is that it’s not at every single race weekend. Williams will choose certain races throughout the season, making it feel like a more exclusive event that fans can attend.
Honorable mention: Haas and Armin Flossdorf
I wanted to throw in an honorable mention as it really is hard to narrow down all of the pop ups in Vegas to just three favorites. Haas had a show car and some racing memorabilia set up in the Cosmopolitan, allowing fans a closer look at the car and photos alongside old helmets and racing suits. To accompany that pop-up was a live art show featuring the renowned painter, Armin Flossdorf. Mr. Flossdorf was painting, in real time, portraits of Formula 1 cars, drivers and other F1-inspired scenes. This was a surreal thing to experience in person, his talent was incredible and I wished that I could purchase every single piece he was creating. Should the Cosmopolitan host Flossdorf again, I would highly recommend checking out this exhibition and appreciating the art that honors Formula 1.
