Why Piastri and Norris were disqualified at Las Vegas

Norris and Piastri were disqualified from the Las Vegas GP because their McLaren cars failed the FIA technical check. The plank under both cars was too thin, and re-measurements confirmed the problem. McLaren said the track conditions caused the wear, but the stewards said this was not an excuse. The disqualification cut Norris’ 42-point lead over Verstappen, and both McLaren drivers now have the same points.

NASCAR leadership exposed in leaked texts

Doraine Pin crowned F1 Academy champion

Doriane Pin won the 2025 F1 Academy championship after a strong season in the all-female series. She finished fifth in the final Las Vegas race, which was enough to beat her title rival Maya Weug, who finished third.
