FIA probes Hamilton over red flag Breach
Lewis Hamilton is under investigation for a potential breach of FIA regulations in FP3 at the Singapore Grand Prix after he accelerated under red flag conditions. The incident happened after Liam Lawson crashed and the red flag was shown, and Hamilton sped up after he went by the stricken car, instead of following a slow pace as required. FIA rules state all cars must reduce speed immediately and stay above a set minimum time under red flags, and stewards have launched a full investigation. If found in breach, Hamilton could face a grid penalty, as similar violations have resulted in harsh penalties before.

Heim takes record 10th Truck Series win
Corey Heim won the EcoSave 250 at Charlotte even though he crashed on the first lap and his truck got damaged. He stayed on the track for the last restart while his teammate Brent Crews, who led the most laps, went to get fuel and tires. Heim had problems with his truck and had to pit several times, but still finished first, with Crews second and rookie Gio Ruggiero third, for a TRICON Garage 1-2-3 finish. Layne Riggs, who was part of the first-lap crash caused by Grant Enfinger, had trouble with his truck and finished 21st, out of the playoffs.

Gray, Fleming earn WEC Bahrain rookie test chance
Ollie Gray and Tom Fleming have been chosen to take part in the FIA World Endurance Championship rookie test in Bahrain on November 9, after strong seasons in the European Le Mans Series. Gray, who is 20 years old and leads the LMP2 championship with VDS Panis Racing, will drive a Hypercar, possibly a Ferrari 499P or Porsche 963; earlier this year, his car had a suspension problem just 20 minutes before the end of the 24 Hours of Le Mans. Fleming, who drives a Ferrari 296 GT3 for GR Racing and is currently seventh in the GT3 standings, will test an LMGT3 car and said he’s excited to drive outside Europe for the first time. Both drivers see this as a big step toward their goal of being in the top level of the World Endurance Championship.

Vowles eyes return to racing after testing McLaren GT3
Williams team boss James Vowles wants to get back behind the wheel and has already tested a McLaren GT3 car at two tracks in Spain. He said his goal is to compete again and plans to spend more time in the car to improve. Vowles praised Max Verstappen’s big GT3 win but said he’s not at that level of challenge right now. He’s open to being in a car with F1 drivers like Carlos Sainz or Alex Albon but said their busy schedules make it hard unless they really want to join.
