Why F1 doesn't need shorter races

Williams team boss James Vowles said Formula 1 does not need shorter races to attract young fans. He explained that longer races often give better action, while forced changes like extra pit stops in Monaco did not work. Instead, he thinks F1 should use streaming platforms and share short clips as well as full races to fit how people watch today. Vowles also suggested having fewer practice sessions and two-day weekends, which could make racing more exciting and allow for more races without being too much for fans.

Kaulig Racing promotes Rice to CEO

Kaulig Racing has promoted longtime team president Chris Rice to chief executive officer. Rice has decades of NASCAR experience, starting on pit road before moving into leadership and helping Matt Kaulig build the team from the ground up. While Ty Dillon, AJ Allmendinger, and Will Brown compete for the North Carolina-based squad, none of them are currently in the playoffs. The team now looks ahead to the Hollywood Casino 400 at Kansas Speedway, where Dillon and Allmendinger believe lessons from earlier races will boost their performance.
