FIA president seeks full control with controversial proposal

FIA President Mohammed Ben Sulayem has proposed a series of statute changes that would significantly centralize power within the organization, including granting himself authority to appoint all members of the FIA Senate and disqualify presidential candidates based on subjective assessments of their "professional integrity." All four formula series to race at British GP for first time

For the first time in Formula 1 history, all four major single-seater series—F1, F2, F3, and F4—will compete at the same event during the 2025 British Grand Prix at Silverstone. This unprecedented lineup includes the return of the 500cc F3 cars, which were featured in the inaugural 1950 F1 World Championship race at Silverstone, marking a nostalgic nod to the sport's origins. The Silverstone Festival will feature 64 F3 cars, with a 54-car race on Sunday to celebrate 75 years of F1 at the track. A special display will also show cars raced by all 34 F1 World Champions.
